We bundle all the vehicle-specific parts you'll need (Baseplate, light wiring) with our best-in-class tow bar which comes fully integrated with our Ready Brake straight out of the box. Once installed, the Ready Brake is extremely simple to use; no box to move or calibrate– just attach a cable and you are ready to tow.

I had mine coming on ten years and as you described simple, effective, & safe yet cost effective. No external power, vacuum or air pressure required for normal operation. Just connect the cable from the bar to the toad and your brake ready to head out. And don't for get to buy a break away kit.
