Very easy to use and hooks up better than most. It is worth every cent. It is the best tow bar for the money since for only a couple hundred more than the Blue Ox. ... Most tow bars require a separate braking system to the tune of $1K+ but this one has a cable based system that works just fine and meets the standards of the states that require a braking system. This tow bar is heavy duty, precision machined and well made! The integrated surge brake system enables the towed-vehicle (the "toad") brakes to be activated via a mechanical cable within a cable sleeve easily routed and installed through the toad's firewall and attached to the brake pedal. This provides simple, robust, secure, and proportional braking for the towed vehicle.

Recently bought a Ready Brute elite towbar with safety cables, break away kit and accessories. Great people, great products! Very helpful staff, and very nice manufactured towbar. I installed the brake cable and other accessories on a jeep jk 2015 Wrangler, hooked it up to the Ready Brute Elite and it works like a charm!
