Important:
Keep in mind when you buy a Roadmaster baseplate, it does not come with their adaptor bar #067. That item only comes with their tow bars. So when you buy one of their baseplates from us, or any other dealer, they are a separate item. The baseplate # MX , MS, and EZ-5 are the only baseplates that do not need an adaptor bar - all others do. it needs to say (Keep in mind when you buy a Roadmaster baseplate, it does not come with their adaptor bar #067. I had mine coming on ten years and as you described simple, effective, & safe yet cost effective. No external power, vacuum or air pressure required for normal operation. Just connect the cable from the bar to the toad and your brake ready to head out. And don't for get to buy a break away kit.

This towbar is awesome. It was easy to set up. I used it to tow my 94 Jeep Wrangler over 3,000 miles behind a class A RV. It was completely problem free and easy to use the whole way. I love the simple brake cable that relies on simple physics to make the tow vehicle brakes engage when the RV brakes engage. It worked great through steep mountain passes!
