RB-013 (Floorboard Surge cable routing System)
New for 2025: An improved system for routing our surge braking cable!
The cable no longer needs to be routed through the firewall, which could be complicated for some vehicles. The cable now routes through the floorboard of your tow vehicle for a much cleaner and simpler install for any tow vehicle. This improved design now comes standard with any 2-in-1 tow bars and the Ready Brake.
The RB-13 cable routing system comes with any new NSA braking system, but it can be purchased to upgrade the cable routing of any of our older brakes.
We aim to ship your order as quickly as possible, during the busiest times of the season, tow bar manufacturing lead times can be 3 weeks. If an item is not going to ship quickly, we will be in contact via phone or email. Please reach out if you have any questions on lead times.

Best value around, well built!

I pull my 2010 Jeep Wrangler with my 31 foot Class C RV. Worked perfectly as advertised, the Ready Brake is impressive on how well it works. Interstate, rolling hills, and some pretty crappy roads along the way and this system is awesome!! A pure and simple mechanical system that you set up and adjust once and you're done! Hookup takes minutes! Unhooking takes even less. And a hell of a lot cheaper than the box brakes by Roadmaster and the like!

The Hercules tow bar system work great couldn’t be happier. It’s easy to use and the surge brake works really well. I installed it myself with no problems.

Works as expected, the adjustable and locking arms make the tow bar easy to use. Breaking system works perfectly.

This towbar is awesome. It was easy to set up. I used it to tow my 94 Jeep Wrangler over 3,000 miles behind a class A RV. It was completely problem free and easy to use the whole way. I love the simple brake cable that relies on simple physics to make the tow vehicle brakes engage when the RV brakes engage. It worked great through steep mountain passes!
