We purchased an NSA Brute Ready Brake Tow Bar System in late 2018 to flat tow our 1999 Jeep TJ, The kit came with everything we needed to connect and flat tow our Jeep. It features emergency break-a-way stoping system, braking, quick connect lights, safety cables. The kit was very easy to install. We're based in Florida we've used this system to tow safely all over the United States, over twenty-five thousand miles with no issues. Because we're planning a few long trips we decided to have the Tow Bar check out just to be on the safe side. I boxed it up and shipped it back to NSA for inspection. They inspected it and repaired as needed and shipped it back for free. Very good service, plus NSA is a USA company with products made in the USA. Just as advertised.. Love it!. This is a mechanical braking system. No big "Box" on the floor of the drivers side seat. Comes complete with everything you need on the receiver side.

This bar makes it easy with it's ready brake system, and saves money. The brake cable system works very well
