 This is the Atlas tow bar package and does not come with a brake.  This should only be chosen if you already have another brake or plan to use a brake other than our Ready Brake. You'll need a braking system to tow safely and legally.  

The Atlas complete tow package includes everything you need to tow behind your RV for $500 to $1500 less than the competition. IMPORTANT NOTE:  THE PRICE OF THIS FLAT TOWING KIT INCLUDES THE ATTACHMENT CLEVIS AND A NEW BASEPLATE.  CURRENT OPTIONS ARE BLUE OX OR ROADMASTER (+$50). 

FOR ROADMASTER BASEPLATES ONLY: THE "DIRECT CONNECT" STYLE BASEPLATE IS HIGHLY PREFERRED OVER THE "CROSSBAR-STYLE". IT IS RARE, BUT IF A DIRECT CONNECT STYLE BASEPLATE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR YOUR VEHICLE YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE A ROADMASTER CROSSBAR ASSEMBLY WHICH IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE PACKAGE.   

IN SOME CASES WE CAN HOOK OUR TOW BAR TO TOW-GRADE AFTERMARKET BUMPERS BUT THEY WILL NEED A SPECIAL CLEVIS AND YOU'LL NEED TO CALL US SO WE CAN GET MEASUREMENTS AND GET YOU A QUOTE.   

 IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A BASEPLATE GIVE US A CALL AND WE CAN QUOTE YOU A COMPLETE PACKAGE WITHOUT A NEW BASEPLATE. 

THE "CLEVISES" ARE THE ENDS OF THE TOW BAR THAT HOOK UP TO THE BASEPLATE YOU ARE USING.  OTHER ONLINE SELLERS DO NOT INCLUDE THIS CRITICAL COMPONENT THAT YOU WILL NEED TO USE THE TOW BAR.  LET US GET IT RIGHT FOR YOU THE FIRST TIME AND GET YOUR TOW BAR SYSTEM STRAIGHT FROM THE FACTORY!
